AoE2 DB is an independent, fan-made database for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. It collects every civilization, unit, building and technology in one place, with the exact in-game figures you need to make a decision mid-game — costs, attack bonuses, armor classes, research times and more.
On top of the raw data we build the tools we always wished existed: a live counter matrix derived from every unit's attack bonuses and armor, an army counter planner, a civ tier list by playstyle and map, side-by-side civ comparison, and structured build orders.
Accuracy
Every stat on this site is meant to be faithful to the game's exact in-game values. Because the counter matrix and tech tree are derived from those values rather than hand-maintained, they stay correct across balance patches. If you spot a number that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us — corrections from players are the fastest way the site improves.
